Season To Start In September
Stowmarket Town have a proposed start date for when their 2020-21 Thurlow Nunn League campaign will begin.
Late last night, The FA revealed that the UK Government have approved their plan for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.
The Old Gold and Blacks have not been in action since March, due to the Coronavirus pandemic which led to the 2019-20 season being cut short and declared null and void.
Yesterday the FA outlined their recommended phased return to competitive football activity, with pre-season friendlies to begin from August and Step 5 football from September.

The Thurlow Nunn League season’s start date of Saturday, September 5 is subject to The FA gaining approval for spectators being allowed into grounds.
