Round-Up: October 28
Stowmarket Town youth chairman Kevin Blundell rounds up the weekend’s action…
The weekend of the 24th and 25th of October has seen the start of the half term break from school for most of our youth players.
This also means a break from football with most of our youth sides not having a game this past weekend.
After an extra training session on Saturday morning for the Under 14 Bees side, I made the journey over to Mildenhall to watch the first team come away with a 2-2 draw in the afternoon.
This weekend also left me with very few games to watch but our Under 8s and Under 9s sides were back at Chilton Fields on Sunday morning.
The Under 15 EJA side were at their home ground of Cedar Community Centre in the afternoon, so still a couple of games to enjoy.
As you will see below a mixed bag of results this weekend from those sides that had games.
The Under 9 Wasps and Under 11 Hornets with great performances to get their wins, the Under 14 EJA were ran close all the way to the end of the game and our Under 16s with a great performance away from home.
