Craig Brown wants more improvement from Stowmarket Town Reserves when they host Framlingham Town Reserves at Greens Meadow tomorrow (3pm).

Stow snapped a three-game winless run in the Thurlow Nunn Reserve League last time out, beating Cornard United Reserves 3-1 at Greens Meadow.

Brown is hoping to build on that win this weekend and continue to keep pressure on the sides around them, with the top six in the table separated by just two points.

“Last week was a good response,” Brown said. “I was looking for a response and I got it with the 3-1 win against Cornard.

“But we didn’t perform at our best and there’s still room for improvement. There’s still things we can improve on.

“Framlingham will be our hardest game so far this season. They drew 4-4 at Walsham last weekend, and to get something at Walsham shows you they’re a good side.”
