Stowmarket Town Reserves will be boosted by the return of Danny Lines and Alex Clarke for their trip to Thetford Town Reserves tomorrow.

Craig Brown’s side will be hoping to bounce back from consecutive defeats, to Long Melford Reserves and Whitton United Reserves, in their last two outings in the Thurlow Nunn Reserve League.

The Stow squad will be strengthened for the trip to Thetford tomorrow (3pm), as Lines and Clarke both return, while Luke Bates will be pushing for a starting place after coming back from injury.

“I don’t like to use excuses, but we have had injuries and it will be good to have some players back for this weekend,” Stow manager Brown said.

“I’ve not had a full squad to choose from yet, but we’re getting back to full strength. We beat Thetford 6-2 at home, but the scoreline didn’t tell the story as we had to come back from 2-0 down after half an hour.

“We won’t be taking them lightly and we need to make sure we go there with the right attitude. If we do that then I’m confident we can come back home with a win.”
