Stowmarket Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Kane Munday.
The 21-year-old is the second off-season arrival at Greens Meadow, joining after spells higher up the non-league pyramid with AFC Sudbury and Barking.
After leaving Colchester United’s academy, Munday progressed through the ranks at Sudbury and is a scholar of their academy, making his Step 4 debut with the club as a teenager in 2017.
“When Seb (Dunbar) left, it was important, as much as anywhere else, to get a left back in,” Stow manager Paul Musgrove said.
“It’s great to get someone in of Kane’s quality. He’s been brought up well at Sudbury’s academy and went to Barking and roughed it up a bit there.
“He’s an honest lad and sees what we’re trying to do as a club. He will add quality to us and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
