On behalf of all Directors, Staff & Volunteers of Stowmarket Sports and Social Club CIC we would like to pass on a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our club members, supporters, Sponsors and volunteers alike and please enjoy the festive season in our club.

What we have to look forward to in 2023 is Muzzy and the boys are pushing hard and bringing results and much joy to all at the club, long may this continue. Craig Brown and the Reserves have turned around a difficult start to the season and are really pushing teams that pre-season they thought they may struggle to cope with but bringing home the points they desire. Our youth section are continuing to commit to the club with some great results up and down the age groups, there is some real talent in those teams and future Stowmarket Town first team players as they come of age.

As the season progresses additional changes will have to be made at Stowmarket Sport and Social Club CIC and Stowmarket Town FC. We are always looking for volunteers to get involved, so if you have the time then please speak to one of us at the club and help wherever you can.

Nigel Jarvis as Director of Projects and infrastructure will be looking for vital improvements to the facilities and we will be looking again for our great supporters to volunteer to get involve in and after the season to ensure every project is completed. Doug French as Commercial Director is always looking for further investors to assist our club in moving forward and his Commercial Manager Paula Bloomfield may even have contacted your company already, if not then please get in touch with either of them to offer any financial help you or your company can.

A massive thank you to all our current sponsors for your continued support, special thanks to Precon Product Ltd as our main sponsors and Driver Hire Bury Ltd as our club sponsor your support is integral to everything we do.

Have a great festive season one and all

The management and players would like to wish all of our brilliant supporters, volunteers and committee a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2023.

I hope you all realise what a difference you make to this fantastic club in your own way. Without you all, there would be no club.

The 2022/23 season so far as been positive with some brilliant results. The FA Trophy being a highlight. We all know the league is what we want and we will be doing all we can to ensure you have something to celebrate come May.

January and February are heavy game months with 7 games in each month. Let’s hope we are sitting pretty at that point.

I would also like to put a heart felt message out to anyone who has had a tough time this year with health, losing people in their lives, mental health or financially. The club is a place to come where I hope you can talk to people, relax a little and enjoy what is a truly special atmosphere. We have been to these new fancy grounds where everything is new and shiny and yes it looks nice. What none of them have is character, atmosphere and a story to tell.

See you all Boxing Day.
