Stowmarket Town have been handed a home draw in the third round of the Buildbase FA Vase.

The draw for the last 64 of the national competition was released on Monday afternoon, with Stow’s reward for Saturday’s 5-0 win against Eynesbury Rovers another tie at Greens Meadow in the next round.

Paul Musgrove’s men will take on either Norwich CBS or May & Baker Eastbrook Community on Saturday, December 19. The two Step 6 sides meet in their second-round tie this Saturday (December 12), with the winners coming to Stow the following weekend.

Norwich, who sit 15th in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North, have so far beaten March Town United and Ipswich Wanderers in this season’s FA Vase.

Meanwhile, Thurlow Nunn League First Division South outfit May & Baker, who are bottom of their table, but have only completed four league games so far this season, have knocked out Redbridge, Little Oakley and Newbury Forest to reach the second round.

Ticket details for the third-round tie will be announced in due course.
