Evan Collard’s Return & Welcoming Brother Noah

Here at Stowmarket Town Football Club, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of the Collard brothers, Evan and Noah, to our ranks. This is a significant step in the ongoing transformation of our team under the guidance of Richard Wilkins.

Evan Collard is no stranger to Stowmarket, having been on loan last season at Maldon & Tiptree, Needham Market, and Coggeshall. Making a welcome return to his familiar grounds, Evan shared his excitement, stating, “Really excited to be back at Stowmarket this season. With Wilks in charge and playing within that system, I feel I can thrive and continue the positive last season I had with the club!” His enthusiasm about playing alongside his brother, Noah, promises to bring a lot of energy to the league, “Also happy to be playing alongside my brother Noah as with our compatibility on the pitch we will bring a lot of energy to the league.”

Joining us from Needham Market FC, where he made over 100 first team appearances, is Noah Collard. A tenacious midfielder, Noah is thrilled to be part of our young and talented team. He said, “Buzzing to join a young talented team. Looking forward to a new challenge in a new environment and bringing the same work rate and tenacity to every minute of the season.  I’ll bring my experience from the last few years, having had the opportunity to play in some high pressure games. Bring it on!”

We share the Collard brothers’ enthusiasm and eagerly await the chance to see them wear our cherished gold and black. Their signing marks a key milestone in Richard Wilkins’ vision for a new look Stowmarket Town FC
