Stowmarket Town are excited to announce defender Josh Curry as our third post-season signing.
The 28-year-old has spent the last three years with Lowestoft Town, at Step 3, following a spell at Mildenhall Town during their first season in the Isthmian League.
Prior to moving up the non-league pyramid, Curry played in the Thurlow Nunn League for the likes of Walsham-le-Willows, Ely City and Diss Town.
“Josh is a lad I have known for a long while,” Stow manager Paul Musgrove said.
“With him becoming available after leaving Lowestoft I did not hesitate to pick up the phone.
“Josh has flexibility in his game, which makes him a huge asset. I said years ago his best position would be centre half and he will only make us stronger.
“Josh was a consistent performer with Lowestoft and I’m sure he will be a huge success with us. He will be a fans’ favourite as he gives his all.”
Curry is the third new arrival at Greens Meadow during the off season, following the signings of striker Anthony Spyrou and defender Kane Munday.
The trio join up with the 10 players announced so far to have remained at the club from last season, with three more players from the 2020-21 squad set to be announced as staying later this week.
