Words from reserves manager Craig Brown

Saturday we welcomed Cornard United Res to Greens Meadow being our last Saturday home game of the season.

We started the game the best I’ve seen all season going 2-0 up inside 10 mins. Young defender Harvey Talbot and Reon Huckvale with the goals.

We had 8 U18s players starting today, I was so proud of how well we played missing 5 experience players makes the first half even more impressive. We added a third goal on the 35th Liam Knights made it 3-0.

Second half we continued the same way Frederico Dende hit the bar before Reon added his second of the game. A very impressive performance from my young side.

We move on to Tuesday away v Whitton United Res hoping to continue our good form and trying to finish as high up as possible, very happy gaffer
