You will love this! The Ridgeons league results are all on the new GoldRun Website which has an automatic feed to the lastest news and results from YOUR club. Take a look and sign up as a supporter. My intention is to get as many supports as possible on the website and show the rest of Suffolk just who is number 1!!

Dave,

Thanks for the note.
This is something we are looking at as this season has been the worst affectted by weather in 10 years. Please bear with us, we will do our best to set this up.
One thing we can assure you is that the website is updated immeadiatly we have to call off as its part of the managers process once confirmed. The players arrive at 1.30 for 1st team 2pm for reserves on Saturday's and 6.30 for all midweek fixtures so if you bear that in mind, decisions where the weather is obviously poor will be made well before then. If its 50 50 then we have to wait for the ref normally 1 hour before kick off.
Thanks again for your support.
Webby.

Would it be possible to give more notice of Match day postphonements ,as it is most annoying to get to the ground only to find the ground deserted as happened to one or two of us recently .A notice board outside the gro.und would be a great help. Come on Stow keep winning

I was rather surprised to find an Ipswich Wanderers 'fan' calling our club 'mickey mouse'.

On the lack of programme for that night in question, i can personally back the club and myself up. The man that takes care of the printing of the programme has recently passed away. His work partner decided to shut until Jan 4th. This was out of our control.

Now......'mickey mouse'? I think many people would agree with what im going to say. How can you call a club 'mickey mouse', when you have just been beaten by them 2-0!?

A reply from 'that fan' would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have lived in Stow all my life and although work has stopped me getting to as many games as I would like, it has been a pleasure to watch the 1st team this season. The attitude on the pitch, their polite peasonalities off it are a refreshing change from the players over the past years. I brought my father to the last game and he had not been since Rocky's time. He was shocked to see them warming up properly! and the managers conducting themselves in such a great manner!! If we keep playing the way we are and bring in a few more experienced heads we will go far with these two at the helm. Well done to all at the club for the changes you are making and the appointment of such two positive managers.
