Where to Park?
There are numerous pay and display parking facilities all within walking distance of the town centre. These can be found at Bury Street, Milton Road South, Iliffe Way, and Ipswich Street.

What is there to do?
On a Saturday there is a Market that you can visit, or you can take a look round some of the many shops situated in the town centre. In Ipswich Street (the main High Street) you will find Woolworths, Superdrug, QD Stores, and Argos to name but a few, and just off Ipswich Street is the Meadow Centre which has an array of shops including Thomas Cook and Asda, situated on the site of our former home the Cricket Meadow.

If you arrive early enough, you could always take a look around the Museum of East Anglian Life which is one of the country's leading open air museums occupying a site of 70 acres within a stones throw from the Market Place.

Nearby Cashpoints?
In Ipswich Street and in the Market Place (off Ipswich Street) there is a vast range of banks and building societies including Lloyds TSB, Natwest, Barclays, Abbey National, and Nationwide plus several more. Most of these banks or building societies have cashpoints, and additional cashpoints can be found at the Asda store in the Meadow Centre.

Places to Eat?
There are numerous take-away establishments in Ipswich Street with a wide range of food on offer. Should you wish to sit down to eat there are many pubs in close proximity to the town centre, or you also have the option of eating at Wimpy or Bakers Oven in Ipswich Street, or The Coffee House in the Buttermarket (off Ipswich Street and Market Place).
